Hello,
Regarding bulkheads for V8 Defenders pre 2000.
Is there much difference in the basic shape of the bulkheads.
If I buy one for 300 TDI for instance is the only difference the bell housing panel?
I will be using R380 gearbox
I am looking into buying one and V8 specific are rare second hand.

I am just working out how much it will cost to make a 100 inch Defender, I thought from memory it was the transmission tunnel.
Altering stuff wont faze me as I think there would be lot of that if I went thru with the plan. Been talking about it for years and as I now have my P38.............

If you chop/modify a chassis you need/should have it IVA inspected after build. Gone are the days of chopping range rovers up & putting LR bodies in them.
To build a motor it would cost about £5k.(plus purchase of the rolling motor)
This allows for a galv chassis & bulkhead. You may get a deal if you get both from the same place but expect a wait.
