I am about to remove the bulkhead from my landrover 90. Just wandering what is the best way to start? Also what is the best way to remove the electrics? I am removing it because it needs repairs to the door pillars and passanger footwell.

Any help would be great cheers guys!

You don't need to remove the bulkhead if you are only going to repair it, you can get to the bits you need by removing the wings and doors.

Electrics are pretty simple just follow the loom and disconnect the lights horn etc

I'm doing a full rebuild on a galvanised chassis so it has to come off lol! Do you know what else will need to be taken off for the bulkhead to be removed?

Cheers, James

Might be worth leaving the bulkhead in position so you can do the bottom brackets in situ one at a time to get the alignment right - just take everything off around it.

sorry since you didnt mention the chassis and i couldnt read your mind at the time i thought you were doing a bulkhead repair like you put in your first post.

If you are concerned about how to remove the bulkhead do you really think you should be attempting a chassis swap?
