My significant other is fed up with getting wet feet. I've
therefore decided to sort out the leaking (I assume)
bulkhead vent seal. I've just removed it and it's covered in
glue in various places which I have cleaned off.

I'm intending to re-use it as it's in good condition. Which
face(s) of the seal should the adhesive be applied to as it
not obvious from the 'pattern' of adhesive on the removed
seal?

Regards

Richard

The glue goes on the coarser side.

If you wish to avoid disappointment on re-assembly check that the
linkage is actually closing the ventilator flap properly.

The vent was a little 'un-straight' so I've tapped it a bit
to correct that. I'll check it closes properly when I sort
it out in the morning.

Thanks for the advice.
