Bulkhead swap

Cheers, I've found a place not too far away from me. I'll give them a ring tomorrow.

Has anyone ever tried an electrically applied zinc plating as opposed to galvanising? The plating company said they can do this as well as the rust removal.

I resurrected this thread as I will have to change the bulkhead soon. Every time I drive the vehicle, flakes of rust drop off from round the brake pedal.

I shot blasted the replacement bulkhead and got a friend to do the welding. Now to get it painted and then for the fitting.

As for fitting it, I am really dreading removing and re-fitting the wiring. I know something won't work once it's all been re-fitted. I hear that getting the bulkhead lined up onto the chassis is also a pain.

I really need somewhere under cover to do the job as you just can't rely on the weather.

I would be willing to pay a bit to someone to help me do it if there's anyone on here around West London.
