Just postponed my MOT after being unsure as to the rules on rust and welding close to pedal and servo mounts.
I have a weld about 4" from said mounts and corrosion 6" from said mounts.
There is a new 'box' welded inside the old rusty pedal box but not sure on the rules and dont want to have a fail and then have to change the bulkhead. Would rather whip the wing off and make it strong and original looking for the test.
Any info appreciated:)

As long as the weld is a continuous weld And the structural integrity of the component isn't compromised. Then it can't be failed.
Good to hear, I'll weld another piece in and tidy it up when the wing is off then shove it in for test.:)
