Bulkhead question

Hi all,mid way into my 90 project, (1990 on a G plate) when I bought the project it already had a brand new bulkhead, it not a Tdci/ puma or out like that, but I'm not sure what year model the bulkhead is from, my prob us , I'm at the stage of fitting the wiper wheel boxs, checking most suppliers they list up to 2001, then a different part after 2001, would anyone know the difference ? Other than the obverse . The bulkhead looks like it wiil accept a R380 g/box cover/tunnel .

Quick test is the wiper holes in the bulkhead, if its old style the holes are round, if later type the holes are oval...If its a new bulkhead, chances are it an old stock td5 one which is what I used on mine, wipers are a mix of parts between original and td5 theres plenty of threads on the forums about how to get the wipers right....

Oh and if ou have to buy td5 wheelboxes buy Genuine, the copies are made of cheese....

Thanks for that, my holes are round,so maybe it's a new old stock 300tdi bulk head, that hopefully makes life easer ?

If you are correct then it should be significantly easier as the wipers from the donor should go straight on.....
