Bulkhead needed but not got much money !!!

Hi.
I'm rebulding my 1960 series 2 and need a bulkhead. Mine is very rotten everywhere so i think it time for a new one. Having looked around they all seem mega money, over £500 for ones with rot in it !!! So can you give me some help, any surjestions would be great ! Ta

You could fit a Bulkhead off a 90 or 100 - The dash would need reworking or you could fit a S3 or 90/110 ect but it would fit and they are generally cheaper (I watched a Brand new Td5 bulkhead go on ebay for £250 t'other day).

Couple of companys that do direct replacements (Andrew Morris - Top notch workmanship but very expensive and along wait, Ashtree landrover - Having seen these bulkheads in the flesh they are very nice and they give you a £75 for your old un)

Right thanks. I've seen the new ones they do look good. Cost a bit though !! I had been looking at 90+110 bulkheads and then puting the s11 dash in it. Has anyone done that ? What was the job like ? Could be somthing to do in the long winter nights !!!!!

I may have a s2 bulkhead. Just brought a s2 109 as a donor vehicle for its 2.25 diesel engine, so all the rest will be available for spares. I will take a better look at the bulkhead tommorrow and if its any good, i can let you know, i wont want much for it. Im located in Wiltshire

why didn't you ask him what mode of transport he was using - you can get a long way in 30 minutes if your in a Tardis
