Aggggh more old Land Rover problems! Today I removed the steering column bracket from the bulkhead and a nightmare happened! the bolts attached to the bulkhead go into nuts that are fixed into the bulkhead, one came out fine but the second one was just going round and round so the weld/seal whatever it was holding it to the bulkhead had gone, hence the bolt came out with the nut! Now I have a hole with no nut to put the bolt bracket back in. From what I can see its a boxed in section so I cant put a nut on the inside and do the bolt up from outside? Is there any ideas how to overcome this problem please? Any special kind of exspanding bolt etc I might be able to use???
