Interesting thread on www.jollyfollies.com website re: budget they have kept. Ours resembles nothing like this - we went well over what they spent in just 8 weeks. Ahem - we have alot of improving to do.

we budgeted for our trip £8,500 but spent more like £12,000 and still didnt get to do everything we wanted to.

my budget(ing) for Morocco and the Alps was spot on

but they were short trips.

12k ad. Not had a good look at it in detail, but thought it would be less than this... Interesting thread.
