Budget lift - any good or complete ****

I have a 2" lift with pro comp springs and shocks, just want to raise up a bit more but on a budget - or should i go for a body lift -

ALSO

Would i need to extend brake lines, pipes etc etc

Brake lines will need to be a min 150mm extended. Shocks will be the restrictions as will the shock mounts and turrets.

Also over 3" lift and you need to look at props etc

it wont be a budget lift then - oh well i guess the extra height will be on the back burner for a while

Would it be the same with a body lift?

Are these no good either? Or, again, would i need more modifications to use them - im on a learning curve at the moment as i think you can tell

you can buy 2" lift blocks that sit between the axle and the spring saddle, I had them on my old discovery which already had lift springs fitted so gave it a 4" lift, look smart, and had standard props though did have to change the radius arms. you can buy the blocks on eBay for about £35

Firstly you need to decide what you want out of the lift. More articulation from the axle will not be achieved by lift blocks under the springs.

More clearance due to larger tyres will be achieved through a body lift. 2" body lift is easy to do and there are no extras except seat belt anchors front and rear plus radiator mount pins. Took me 2 hours all done.

Land Rover equals anything but budget but you can save yourself money by engineering solutions yourself. It's certainly cheaper than just buying off the shelf if possible.

yes there the ones, (sorry I didn't see the link) I used them for about 2 years before I sold the disco and had no issues whatsoever

if you fit the 2 inch blocks you wont need to extend break pipes , but expect the prop uj,s to wear a bit quicker
