I was looking into getting some Cobra Monaco seats to put in my 90 with the subframes?

what are they like how do they affect seating position because the base of seat looks high at the front ?

has anyone else got these or similar and what are they like

If you are a bit wide in the buttock dept they can be a bit awkward getting in and out and not leave you very much room in front of the steering wheel so you squash your legs on it. I've been in a few landys that have them and there not for the fuller figure.

I have a pair of Cobra Monaco seats for sale, that I have just taken out of one of my Disco's, only reason for removal is that I need to have seats that are able to alter the backrest position so the short**se wife can drive it also!!!! The seats are lower at the front once you are sat in them as it is a soft foam at the front making them lower than the std 90 seats that are in my daughters car, but with loads of side support so no more slipping sideways out of the seat!!!!

Hi,

In my old landy i had some cheap bucket seats and i know what u mean about the high fronts but i found them great to have!!

Just ordered the monaco seats from exmoor trim for my 300TDi and they'll be going in in the next few days so ill let you know what theyre like!

Oh and always get subframes!!!! the cheap ones didnt come ith any so redrilling and bolting was needed and wasn't much fun!

i used to have them in my rally mini and it was a real pain to get in and out off.
strongly suggest that you try before you buy.

Yep everytime you need to access the batery you have to unbolt the seat i think this is easier with proper subfames and runners but still a pain in the arse

I got sparco buckets and although they look cool and feel ok once you've mastered getting in them, they are a complete arse to get out off, esspecially if you've lifted your landy...

can be a bit of a krypton factor assault course if your over 5' 10"..

just got my monnaco's in today and they look awesome however you must get the subframes it makes life sooooooo much easier!! id also advise getting runners for them as the monnaco's are in a fixed position,

My 90 has a lift kit and i agree with just2a that its a challenge getting in and out and im 6'1
