BSP air hose connectors and all that gubbins.

Evening all.

Out of the two photos, which one is 1/4 BSP and what is the other thread? Ignore the type of fittings which I believe are PCL and Euro.

Thanks but where do you get 6mm from?

They are both BSP one is parallel one is tapered. Measure the nose of the taper thread it will be the same diameter as the parallel thread.

I thought that too, but it looks like he is measuring both at the shoulder. Which should then be the same ???

No the shoulder on the taper thread is larger so that as it is screwed in it grips and self seals
