Broken fuel pipe

Hi
I have a Disco TD5, 03 plate, fuel pipe split so I took it to the nearest garage, big mistake, I was told tow bar had to be removed, result 3 out of 4 bolts sheared, new pipes fitted engine won't start not a sniff, I had to go and reset immobiliser to switch off alarm, engine turns over no fuel into engine, is there a shut off valve in fuel line ? if so
a) what activated this
b) how do I reset this
Trying to get to another garage but not to happy about towing it.

Would be worth popping over to the discovery section to get a better outcome.
On another note can you hear the fuel pump working as you turn the ignition on. Not familiar with disco but if similar to Freelander there's a accident fuel cutoff in case. As I say pop in the discovery section.
