Good morning all
I have a 2005 td4 sport ,Upon hearing a thud every time I pull away had a look underneath to discover that the two bolts top and bottom of the diff mountthat attach tot to the diff had become loose.the top one tightened ok but the bottom one appears to have broke off inside. Am a bit peeved as the diff and mounts where only replaced 3 weeks ago. Any ideas on how to solve this problem and what may have caused this in the first instance would be greatly appreciated
Thanks in advance

Broken after three weeks? Were they good quality parts or eBay cheepies? If so try fitting either OEM or LR parts. Carefully check the drive line to make sure the other components are in good order: VCU and its mounts/bearings, UJs.

+1 - there could be a clue in the post because the diff was replaced as well as the mounts.

What caused the original diff to fail? They're pretty strong/reliable units.

Having said that, bolts usually only come loose because they weren't done up tight enough.

The original diff was replaced as a bolt broke off inside and blew a hole in the casing, replaced the mounts as I thought it was best as was all off anyway will have a check through the rest of the drive train to see if anything else is fooked which could have caused the diff failure in the first instance, and get the bloody broken bolt out also
Thanks for your input chaps
