I know I know, BritPart is ****Part.

Well the steering guard is **** for sure.

I ordered one (im an ass) and installed it.
Looks great.

However the mounting bracket on the passenger side has a hole for the steering damper to pass through, just big enough.

This means that if I take a hit on the guard and it moves ever so slightly then my steering is fuked!!!!, how stupid is that? Almost as stupid as me for buying it.

I will be ordering someting else as soon as the money tree is in bloom again.

Live and learn...........................

Are other steering guard supports the same?

I will enlarge the hole, thanks.

This is mine fitted... not even close to the steering damper.

Mine was the same but i only fitted it because it was free. i had to take a grinder to mine to get the RTC damper in. Putting the mounts on the inside is yet a another fine example of ****part's common sense and ingenuity.:rolleyes:
