Brand new TD5 engine

good day to all

Is it still possible to purchase a brand new engine TD5 for defender .
I have been looking the net but found plenty TDI but no TD5

yes it is,also you can buy a factory re conditioned one as well.

A great team the couple of dealings I've had and super kit. £1600 for one of their td5's would be top of my list when mine expires (200k and counting - with one their heads on it for 100,000) A

I bet the postage to Suriname will be a bit steep! I can just imagine putting a TD5 block on the scales in the post office.

yeah I guess you are quite right!!! so the whole idea is in a container, under consolidated cargo and it should be here in 3 weeks.. cool !!

It'll probably need some electronic setting up once fitted. Injectors need programming to the ECU and so on. How are you fixed for facilities to do that?

well I am going Monday to land Rover agent and explain him the whole thing. I did send an email to Turner and the bill is not soft :5000 Pounds. Ouchhh!!!I will send them another one to check on the resetting of the electronics. But in any case thanks for reminding me.

I just got a quote from Turner and it is 5000 Pounds for the engine (stripped) FOB departure factory ....But as far as I understand from everybody it is worth it..

ive only ever hear good things about them! £5k is quite steep though
