Brand new auto box need to hold accelerator 3/4 open to drive u any hill does not want to pull off

Hi everyone new here
Just bought a 2001 deisel auto
It had a brand new auto box put in as part
Of the sale agreement
Buti have to give it nearly full throttle to pull off up hill and when moving To climb any hill I have to floor it they did not replace torque converter

Also does anyone know if the transfer chain would be covered under secondhand car dealers warrenty
