HiI am new to forums and also landrovers. I have a 2006 Freelander 2.0 litre TDi HSE and are having what appears to be the brakes sticking on when i release the hand brake they have freed themselves when i have rocked the car backwards and forwards in gear. However the other day i could not free them and had to call out the RAC who removed both rear drums and it did the trick. The RAC machanic thought the problem could be a faulty transfer box what ever one of those is? Could any body tell me how much to expect to pay fot the replacement of a transfer box. Thanks
