hi guys hoping u can help me
.i have a 110 defender 300tdi1994; which I need to change the water pump (which isn't a problem) and a brake sevo pump.ive spoken to different people about this and have been told they can be a nightmare to change.
are they ? any tips or easy ways to do it?

1) Welcome aboard :)

and have been told they can be a nightmare to change.

2) of the two, I know which I'd rather do - and it's not the waterpump  The exhauster / vacuum pump is quite an easy job IME - just make you use a decent quality one - IMHO steer clear of the blue boxed "stuff" ......

3) Tips for changing the exhauster - might be easier to take in the high pressure pipes off to #3 & #4 injectors - gives a bit more space....;)

take care and good luck :)

its easy if you remove air filter and mounting bracket ,which require the last 2 injector pipes undoing at the injector to get a socket on the two head bolts
