Brake servo issues

Hello, my 300 tdi brake pedal went solid, brakes still work but have to really push on them. Now I checked the pipe to the servo and there was suction so fitted a new servo. Still have same issues so rechecked for suction and it's still there but not sure how strong it should be.
Now I know I will probably have to fit a vacuum pump but wanted to hear it from a few people first.
Any ideas?

Ok bit the bullet and put a vacuum pump on and all fixed now.

i have got a similar problem mate how much was your vacuum pump and where did ya purchase it from.
