Brake Pipe Protection

Hi all,
Going to have to clean/rub down my brake pipes.....what is the best thing to put on them to protect them?
When i was younger the garage i worked in used to use old engine oil....want something that the MOT guys can see that i have cleaned the pipes up...

Hi, ive never used Waxoyl before......would this be any use? Suppose grease would be quite good tho.....

Grease or waxoyl ..... I'd go with grease though

Yup +1 for the grease ...

if you paint them or cover with underseal - it MAY be pulled by the MOT tester ... they don't like it when they can't see the pipes ...
