brake pads?

hi are mintex front brake pads a suitable replacment for my 03flv6 pads, if so does anyone reccomend a mechanic in bournemouth area tofit them?

yea fit them yourself easy go on have ago

go fur EBD green stuff 6000 pads and EBD disks - better than OEM.

if yer not mechanicaly confident, why not try a kwitfit centre. they'll fit em.........if they have em in stock .. ....:welcome:

a kwik **** centre hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha if ya want them to rip you off, break yer bolts and tell yer you need 4 new tyres and a set of shocks !!! wouldn't touch kwick fit if yer paid me! avoid them like an old person would harrold shipman

theres a set of mintex pads on ebay for £29 just need someone to fit them

pads is a piece of **** to fit, get yersen a manual and it will guide yer through it

well i speak as i find. previously having owned several 4x4's i've used my local kwitfit centre loads of times for tyres, tubes, brakes, aircon check etc, never for an MOT though. the lads there are great, never been ripped off yet!! i'm appy...

dont use mintex pads in a freelander, they squeal like ****.

S**tfit may have a life time guarantee on pad's (but not disc's). Worked for them long time ago (Crap to work for). I think they use Ferodo???, EBC green stuff seen to have a good following. Brakes quite easy to do Haynes book of bulls**t usefull some times. But if not confident don't bother (it is your brakes)

Iv got no probs with Kwikfit (S**tfit) just the manager, like anything you get some good you get some bad. Work for V**xhall now, in workshop or Masterfit as they like to call it (more like disaterfit). Any way have a good christmas everyone
