Hi All

Sorry if this has been covered already but can't seem to find a post anywhere.

I renewed the brake pads on my discovery 3 in 2012, the car hasn't done more than 10,000 miles since then. I'm getting the brake pad warning light coming on, do these need renewing again already or is it possible it could be a dodgy sensor ?

Thanks any help will be appreciated

Davey

what pads are you using and how heavy are you on em, just check em, if you have plenty of pad left it's probably a sensor. if they have little left change em.

As lyron says - just take the wheels off and have a look how much pad material is left. It is entirely possible that pads wear out in such a relatively low mileage - differnet car, but I once went through a set of brake pads in my SD1 Rover 3500SE auto in less than 10k miles. modeed suspension, handled like big go kart, used to drive it hard ;)
