Brake pad shims

2004 110, got those shims in behind the brake pads, the anti squeak ones with half moon hole through, just trying to correctly put them back in but don't have a reference as to which way round they go. Anyone know?

There's an illustration on p 418 that shows the shims with the position of the cut out indicated.

Simples, the cut out always face the leading edge of the disc/pad

Thanks guys, that's how ive fitted them, still have a low speed, light pressure on brake squeak.
