yeah ok, we all have you're right. sorry i was extra harsh, had a bad day. but tell you what, if you've never done it before try a track day. loads of fun, and really gets it out of your system.

I agree with you, we've all done some stupid things which in hindsight were REALLY stupid. No excuse. However, I have learnt I can't drive the Freelander like I can my Lotus, it's not designed to be driven like a sports car. In my defence though, it was totally on country roads with no junctions, early hours of the morning with no traffic, I knew the roads well and don't think I exceeded the national speed limit, I was just having a bit of fun late braking and taking corners fast. I do drive track too, but obviously not in my Freelander or Range Rover. Lesson learnt.
