Brake discs

Morning all.
Looking for some advice please.
I own a Freelander TD4 automatic Sport model. Garage has informed me that I need new front discs but they have to be the breather discs being an automatic sport model ie licence to print money. I could buy the ordinary discs but will find myself back with the garage a few months later with warped discs and the steering wheel wobbling all over the place apparently. Is this advice correct? I only use the vehicle for short journeys, not ideal for a diesel I realise and only now and again hit the motorway.

hi, by saying (breather discs), do you mean vented ?. iv'e just replaced vented discs and pads on my o5 td4 and its a manual.i dont think you can buy non vented to fit that model.
