I'm not sure if this is the best place to post this, but it's a RR so it should be ok.

The water here looked quite deceptive. I'd been through a few days ago crossing myself and praying not to get stuck, but today I had a camera so I tried again. It looked deeper than before, but looking at the other photos the actual level never really touched the bumper.

It was fun though.

wow! brilliant, bloody brilliant, thats exactly one of the things your meant to do with them, looks deep though, have you got an electric fan? cant help worrying about the viscous fan throwing water all over the electrics!

p.s. where you get your chrome kit from on the front grill? it looks ok.............can you post more pics please?

I got it from ebay. It wasn't what I was expecting. I thought it would be chrome strips that clipped on the grille or something. It turned out is was from a roll of self adhesive plastic chrome trim stuff. It had been cut to length and angled to fit around the Land Rover badge. It looks nice in the flesh. Even close up. I think it has improved my tired looking grey grille. I like your body coloured one.

its amazing how much higher the water looks with the bow wave going on! its barely up to the top of the rims at the rear, almost over bumper at front! what was the name of the chrome kit place, ebay ID! and i only ever seen 1 other r/r with black bumpers and colour coded grill!

i too have a nice shiny red one........................and i love the red grill too

I do like your red grille though Redrange. I just noticed you have red under your lights too. I think red like ours is classier than black or green :)

Are RR grilles supposed to be grey or was mine just a faded black? Before I did the chrome bits I tried Back to Black and even shoe polish out of desperation but nothing helped.
