bought another p38!

after the failure of my last p38 ive bought another one with the same 4.6 engine but the newer thor if this makes any difference?

anyway i have had issues with my last one but when they are running correctly they are the nuts! I love them and actually enjoy sorting little things out on them that dont cost much!

new one is a 2000 vogue really nice spec etc but allready gotta couple of small issues, window drivers side reg gonna change myself, wheel bearing type sound faintly from front passanger side etc will most parts from my 4.6hse 1997 fit onto 2000 4.6 vogue e-g eas parts and drive system parts window regs etc etc many thanks.

Well Dan-you must be like the rest of us MAD!!.
Apart from the engine I would think most of the parts will swap.

ok another small issue, when i am driving and slow down to stop at traffic lights, roundabouts or park etc going down the gears from second to first it makes a noise and like judders or thuds in to goear not massively but definately noticable what could this be please and also is there a self service checklist on here for the p38 many thanks.

Its always a good idea to start with the UJs on the prop shaft. A cheap and easy repair to do if they are showing any slop, change them....
