Hi all, (TD5 defender)
Have been reading a few posts talking about the following symptoms:
When cold starting It takes about 25-40 seconds for my landy to be able to revup and drive. Before then, even in 1st gear if you push pedal to the floor and slowly release the clutch the engine cant provide the torque and just slowly bottoms out and dies.
After around 25 -40 seconds engine is suddenly able to rev properly and truck drives well.
People have been talking about a faulty MAF sensor as the issue or a problem with fuel pumps....
I've blanked off and removed my EGR valve ages ago before this problem started so how could it be the MAF sensor?/
Any ideas would be really appreciated as such an annoying problem!
Hope everyone has good weekend
cheers
Alastair
