Crack all the nuts on all the pulleys before you take the belt off .. :)
 
A large chain/whip wrench to hold the pulley while you use a breaker bar on the nut.
 
Breaker bar/tommy bar on the nut jammed under the chassis rail and crack it with the starter. Use common sense. I put a tommy bar onto the socket, then jam the tommy bar under the chassis rail, then if I am feeling super safe I put a scissor jack between the front crossmember and the back of the tommy bar so it is held firmly in place.


It usually comes off with the first turn of the starter.
