I have a 2007 FL2 which has developed an irritating rather than serious problem with unlocking the boot.
Previously the boot would unlock in the normal way by pressing the unlock everything button on the key fob twice. It would then remain like that until the vehicle was locked up again.
Now the car still unlocks in the normal way but the boot does not.
It can be unlocked by using the boot unlock button on the key fob but it is a bit of a nuisance remembering to do this and having to stop the engine to get the fob out every time you want into the boot.
Is there a way that this can be reprogrammed?
I have not consciously done anything to cause this problem.

Will it not unlock from the button on the dash if you don't want to remove the fob?
You could try disconnecting the battery for a while then touching the + and - leads together, with the battery still disconnected, but this will reset everything.

It does not unlock from the button on the dash.
What does it all reset if I touch the battery leads together?

Trip settings etc. Windows may need to be recalibrated, just by opening the holding the button same closing. If its an auto they are meant to learn how you drive so mpg may alter for a short while, nothing to worry about. Not sure of anything else.

Press and hold the lock and unlock buttons on the dash together and the boot will open.

Strange problem as it's the same signal from the same place for unlocking!

Might be a latch issue?

I had the same issue, with my boot, also I would sometimes open it's self. I have the issue where all of my locks stop working and I have to use the key, and then fir no reason they all start working again, I went to local LR dealer who check the key and found no issue, they now suggests i spend over £400 for a replacement key fob receiver, but they could not say this was the part at fault, it seems just like a wiring issue, so just living with it at the moment
