boost alloys on a early 90

just wondered what needed to be done to fit the alloys to a early 90 with drum brakes on rear been told they fit but the drive shaft protrudes the the wheel meaning you cant have the center cap in help would be appreciated
 
How early a 90 are you talking about?

I have boosts on mine (which to be fair is a late 90) but they fit OK (but are utterly **** and i wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy...ok slight exaggeration but you get the pic!) - yer way better off with some nice steels! Spend the extra on summat else! (otherwise yer gonna have ter get about an acre of fookin checker plate to bing up the rest of it!)

ps if it's the f reg thing, you don't get 90's an awful lot LATER than that!
 
well they do look ok but they aren't as strong as steels and they sit in a way which with bigger tyres (265/75s) means they grind on the radius arms. If it's looks, personally i don't think you can better steels!
