One of the many niggling issues is that the N/S bonnet locking pin appears to be not locking correctly, the bonnet is loose does flap a little at speed.

RAVE only appears to show removal and refit but no instruction on adjustment.

A comparison to the D/S pins shows that it is shorter so how to I get it to the same length as I now think that it not latching under t?he release catch

There is a lock nut inside the spring slacken it and screw locking pin in or out to suit. Firstly before playing with lock pin make sure the latches are lubed and returning correctly.

Excuse my ignorance but N/S locking pin? I have seen the one at the front (bonnet latch) the hook, but never seen the N/S or O/S ones. please enlighten me

Open your bonnet or hood if you are from the land of the brave. Look right and left you will see a lock pin sticking down at either side of bonnet or hood. These engage in the lock catches at either side of the slam panel to hold the bonnet or hood shut. They can be adjusted as stated previously.

I didn't know that I will look next time, have to put the exhaust on from the air pump 2morrow I will look then ta mucho
