Bonnet Latch Problems

Hi,

As I was trying to pop the bonnet yesterday the pre-release lever by the steering wheel snapped in half and now I can't release the ruddy thing?

Any ideas?

Can I just replace the snapped lever or will I have to replace the whole thing, lever, cables etc?

try landroverdirect.com bought one two weeks ago simpe to replace just remove the screw over the trim cover in the footwell and then two small bolt to remove and the lever is free just remove the two pull cables and thn reconect the new lever. part number below.

That sounds just great, not to pricey too. Should be able to get it over here (living in Portugal) and as my P38 is a LHD the part number is FSC1005 (just in case there are other LHD owners out there)
