Bonnet catch

Just a quick question!

Ive replaced the bonnet pull on my 200tdi today but Im not sure all is right at the catch end! The pull is from a t5 as is the bulkhead. The latch doesn't seen to have anywhere to attach the sheaf? The attachment for the cable is there but not the outer.

Does the td5 have a different catch to the 200tdi? Cheers

It does fit as i have done the same to mine, but i seem to remeber a small clip being involved on the end of the cable..

The outer is held in place by a small clip similar to the ones on your heater box, and the inner goes through a bolt with a hole in it.

Yeah thats it small spring clip that holds the outer and clips onto the catch, should have had one on the old cable though.

It didn't have an old cable unfortunately..... I'll see what I can cobble.
