Just thought I would introduce my self, as I am going to be asking a lot of questions in the coming weeks.
So here it goes, My full name is Tom Le Prevost, I am from Guernsey in the Channel Islands.
I currently own a Heavily modified Land Rover Discovery 1 with a 4.2l V8. I also own a pretty much standard 1997 Disco 300TDi with a 3" lift.
Im also in to track days, sprints and quarter miles. My last car for this was an R33 Skyline GTR V-Spec. My next purchase is going to be an Mitsi Evo 8 FQ340MR.
Anyway enough about jap cars, its a landy site no one is interested in them. The plan over the next month is to drop the 300TDi out of my standard disco, give it a complete rebuild, going to give it a nice new turbo, intercooler new head and replace most of the parts that tend to wear out. Hopefully after a bit of tinkering, I am looking for about 150-160bhp and around 280-290ft-lb. But we will see. All depends how far I take it and how much it will cost.
This will then be replacing the 4.2V8.
