Disco 2 Body weight ?

How much will a bare shell weigh and also a un stripped shell?
Undergoing a chassis change trying to decide safest and most effective method to lift the body clear , thinking front end loader but would like a rough idea of weight before I attempt it

Once saw a program where a whole Disco shell was lifted off the chassi with a fork lift, if that is any help? (No idea!)

Not sure what fork lifts are capable of tbh but I regularly lift 1.2 tonne and move with it with the front end loader so I'm thinking that it should lift it no problem stationery like

But dont worry, someone on here will know the weights of the constituent parts and you can have fun taking this away from the 2.1 weight of the whole vehicle.
If you are an experienced driver you must know what it feels like when the load is too heavy and know what to do, besides run screaming from the cab!!
I think some others do it one end at a time, shoving suitable support under each end at a time, then reverse the actions., as the Haynes would say!

Depends how big your loader is, and how you can pick the body up. Unless you have some long pallet forks or one of those hooks for fert bags you may end up with a tractor grill shaped dent in a door
