blown bulbs

Hi,

does anyone know why my p38 might be blowing tail light bulbs all the time?

usually because its drawing too much current.....a short in the circuit somewhere

either they are crap quality-had a box full of lucas ones and they were crap batch.

Vibration or over charging.

Sorry, short circuits blow fuses not bulbs. If the voltage is correct, i.e the alternator regulator is limiting the voltage to a max of 14.5 then the bulb can only draw it's rated current. Ohms law:behindsofa: Put a test meter on the battery and rev the engine and hold at 2500rpm, you should get a voltage reading of 13.8 to 14.5 volts. More likely your problem is crap bulbs as suggested or even a bad earth.
