Bling for Defender

Just been discussing bling for my Landy with nrgserv (who unfortunately is not a fan of bling

)

She might like a snorkel (could be useful) lights on top (not if they hit height bars though) one of the really useful cupholder/extra power socket things from ebay.

I think some bigger prettier wheels, some stickers and a radio which doesn't get in the way of the bonnet catch.

Would really like some pink seat covers which aren't waterproof and uncomfortable

And before you all have a go, I have got the security stuff, just never got round to the fun stuff.

So come on ideas for improving how she looks

Good job I have only just remembered the pink seat covers then

The wheels look even worse in the pic than they do in real life, perhaps a coat of pink paint might improve things

You have to admit these cup holders would be useful

It says you can add extra power sockets too. An absolute must for the shower, kettle, hairdryer etc

And I was just working out that I could not fit into McDonalds drive through with lights on the roof. Perhaps they could go on the sides or back.

Alloys are good

Would love the side steps too, but I doubt if it would fit down the drive, have to put the mirrors in as it is (that makes reversing out very difficult

) I was thinking of folding ones, wonder if they do those in bling

the roof lights would be ok if you get the right ones/right bar.
Ive seen them fitted so they dont sit any higher than the rear of the roof (the highest point)

find a colour theme for your car. mine is Black and green. hence having green monster stickers, kawasaki green light bars and diff guard, green leds in the footwell and soon green snorkel with black mushroom top
black rims with kawasaki green pin stripe
green stinger cb
green and black racing seats with green harness

That's a big no no if you don't fit in the drive thru!!! I get in with my roof rack and lights attached thankfully, why don't you write a letter for them to change the hieght of their building?

I think its pretty. So is the bottom one. I think I would like the bottom one with the steps from the top one. I think its different to mine though. Neil said the snorkel would go on the passenger side.

I hadn't thought of that. Great idea, I cant get through with my big trailer on either. If they just widened them and increased the height to about 10'6" it would be a vast improvement

Thanks, yes I am looking, was talking about it last night. Cant decide whether I want it easy to drive on the road or some lovely mud tyres for showgrounds etc. And I fancy trying this laning. Not sure my driving is up to it. Only off roading I do now is dragging big trailers out of muddy fields

(actually the road tyres do a decent job )

Compromise, go for all terrain tyres on some nice wheels! Will give u the tools for off road and the look and handling for on road
