whilst driving my mates p38 i noticed the engine was geting alot hotter than mine today i also noticed his passenger side heater wasnt working. i was thinking that could be connected as if you rev his up it cools down to the middle of the gauge. as if the blend motor was restricting the flow of coolent.

Blend motors direct airflow in the cabin and heat/cooling to either side by means of opening and closing flaps. They do not control valves which restrict coolant flow. Hot coolant flows through the heater matrix at all times when the engine is warm and running.

Duff viscous fan or water pump, nowt to do with blend motors:)
