Hi all
It's sort of not working.
The gears all seem fine, no missing teeth etc. I replaced the pot so the arrows don't match up anymore but it goes from 0 to about 10.8 and I've arranged the output with the flat parallel to the edge at both 5.0 and 5.4 but neither works.
If i go to hot or cold, it then stays where it is.
If i select the opposite extreme and turn the key a couple of times it starts working again and i can select 16, 17, 18 or 19 repeatedly, but if i select lo or 20 it goes to the extreme and then stops again
Is it because the pot goes to 10.8 and not 10.0? Or something else going on?
I'm stuck

Maybe helpful. https://www.stockholmviews.com/p38/index.html#blend

Cheers that was the link I've been reading. Definitely not sticking because i was testing it out on my knee. Also tried while fitted, same result and the flap moves easily. Currently using a bit of wire to manually adjust the flap!!
And that's just the drivers side! Can't figure out how to get to the left hand one despite reading all the write ups online! Ha

That's me done for the night! Landy doesn't want to play anymore!
Book icon gone away and doesn't even come back when there's no blend motor attached

Fixed!! Spent ages last night getting it all set up, triple checking, doubting myself, the usual...
Plugged it in, had to start the engine to get everything 'working' and it goes from hi to lo and back again!!!!! More than once!!

Next,, passenger side!!! Does the airbag have to come out?

Yes. unless of course you like to make hard work of things.

Taking the battery off is making hard work of things! Need to get the drivers door window regulator sorted next then as it keeps sticking so won't be able to reset the beep. Can live without passenger heat especially as the engine doesn't get hot anyways!!

Any grinding noises as it gets near the top? The metal on the gear is soft as butter and just chews off.

Well my blend motor fix didn't last long, was fine last night, this morning before starting the engine i can hear the motor go all the way to cold then all the way to hot and stay there and does that every time i turn the ignition on.
A value must be out somewhere :(
Maybe i need to give in and buy new ones

The blend motors do do a calibration cycle from time to time. If it's stuck on hot though, maybe the feedback potentiometer is faulty, or you have the timing wrong.
