Black smoke after adding Injector cleaner.

I think that just a little more fuel by turning the pump up will make a world of difference to the driving experience, it did with mine.

I can now pull out of junctions just touching the throttle, I never need more than half throttle anywhere and she goes like a train with no smoke and fuel consumption is the sme if not better.

landowner which guide you use?

There is so many on here all with different ideas and methods. Got to fit a few parts before i start tweaking stuff. Want everything functioing/working correctly before i start playing...........at the rate i,m going could be awhile! Just threw 150 quid at new springs to lower her to normal height!

Just screwed the adjuster in on the pump a bit at a time till it went better and didn't smoke, easy on older pumps but not so easy on later pumps with security but not impossible,

Will try it next week hopefully once i,ve sorted the lines/breathers/ any other issues that crop up!

Egr removed intake cleaned, Crankcase breather re-new'd and o-ring. Crankcase to sump hose re-new'd......equals a happy vinnie. More power and less smoke!.......result...next rocker gasket and spill fuel lines!

what injector cleaner does anyone reccommend then? i read somewhere on the forum that some of the stuff you get in local garages doesnt really do much and you need more commercial cleaner that garages and the likes use?

Forte. Only available to trade but you can get it off fleabay, I've had some great results with it!
