Freelander 1 Bit the bullet today, bought one!

Ive been in the market for a Land Rover product for some time now, after stupidly selling my Defender a few years ago...a move I've regretted since I did it.

Anyway, I've debated several options - Disco 1, Disco 2, Disco 3, Defender, P38, Freelander - but as this will literally just be a weekend project/toy/camping vehicle/light green laner, I couldn't bring myself to spend masses of money on something that will do little work.

So...I've been scouring, reading, researching, and found a lovely '54 reg FL1 SE facelift that I test drove this evening. I went in armed with all the things to look out for and test...and it looks like I've found a cracking vehicle!

I pick it up on Sunday, when the spending can begin in earnest.

It's nice to be back as part of the Green Oval family, knowing I own one of the most reliable vehicles on the road!
