Hi people,
a friend of mine told me about this bio diesel, nad how some one he knows has been running there vehicle off it....
this has got me thinking...can i do the same?
i am just wanting to find out about the stuff i.e. has it any damaging effects, do you have to use 1 tank of bio n 1 normal? n so on ...

any information would be very helpful cheers chaps. stables...

As said above do a search.

The answers to the questions you ask depend a bit on your engine.

It also depends how well you make the fuel, or are you going to buy it?

Also, is it veg oil or bio diesel your asking about, they are different.

av ya dun a search, lad?
yes pal. they just go on and on..
just wanted to know if some one had been using the stuff, i would rather go on some one who has experience with the stuff rather than loads of big word scientific crap..
thats all, suppose i could hunt down the shop that sells it and give them a call...
have you any idea on price per litre? i have been told its less than a pound! around here its averageing £1.15 a litre. thats silly...:/

its bio-diesel not veg oil. and i was looking to buy it. the landy is a TD. not a tdi. (i will have to do some more in depth searching.)

i use bio-diesel/filtered veg oil(with some sort of chemical added) in my 1989 F reg 90,havn't had any problems.i was told i might have to change/clean the fuel filter a bit more regular as it might get a bit dirtier quicker.i pay80p a litre and i use a 50/50 mix.but as the weather gets warmer i could use a more bio-fuel than diesel mix.
