My wings are sagging, I,ve tried loosening all the fixings and adjusting, still not sitting right. Any solutions other than buying new wings which is not an option.

Thanks for that,
Ive done quite a lot of work to them but there is corrosion still in one or two places. I will try and repair the inner wing and mudsheilds and see how they go.

have you got the "bottom of wing to footwell brackets" in place ????

they are basically a bar that goes from the bottom of the wing ,at the bulkhead side of the wing ,to the bottom of the footwell .

mine is missing them and it has allowed the bottom of the wing to spread outwards ,and at the same time allowed the top middle of the wing to sag .

difficult to explain ,but the inner/outer wing assembly should act like a box ,but it is weakened by the hole for the wheel ,and needs the extra support of the brackets ,to stay rigid

Yeah thanks,
They are missing, I havent put them back on yet so I will get everything tightened up and fitted and if that doesnt work I will learn to live with it. Its just I had a six cylinder years ago and it drove me crazy trying to fix them. But this time I will make sure I have tried everything.
