binacle green 4x4 light not iluminating in low range or diff lock

As title,few little niggles diff lock light not iluminating when engaged faulty switch ?? Its location ???? Secondly handbrake light flicks on briefly when ignition turned on or off but doesnt iluminate when handbrake applied ??? Any suggestions thanx guys

Check the resistance along the whole path from the dash to the switch to see if any one connection is at fault. Could simply be a dislodged switch. The diff lock light should come on only in diff lock btw- in low or high range the light should be out with the diff unlocked.

Difflock light should be orange. Not sure what a green one is.

The difflock light might not come on:

-blown bulb
-switch
-diff lock not actually engaging

Check that there actually is a hand brake switch fitted, mine hasn't got one and the light is for showing when the brake fluid level is low

The handbrake light is separate to the low fluid light on pre-TD5 models. The handbrake light is the one that looks like this: (P) Hooking up a switch of some sort is on my to-do list.
