Having done billings off road course on sunday except the mud bath run.
I might be going to the peterborough show in september .
Is their course better more challanging or is it pants ?:)

when i went to peterborough a couple of years ago it was really dry, so not much mud.
it's a sandy site, but some good bits. Like all of the major shows the off road courses are designed so freelanders can go round and to be non-damaging so make of that what you will!
I did billing on sunday as well...sank in the mud run...disco still not right, some sort of fuel/engine power problem. you made the right decision not to go through it!

Billing mud run was fun, especially the route nearest the left bank.

Peterborough is easy apart from the deep lake. Cross axle section is always entertaining.

I'll be at Peterborough next month to give it a go with the new mods on my motor.

I went to billing a couple of years ago and seen a rangey classic sink in the mud run.so i thought sod that and by passed it. Nice pictures by the way..Got to ask did it leak inside..

I did Peterborough last year, and thought it was harder than Billing this year. Both a lot of fun - Peterborough set in and around a quarry, so plenty of mud, steep accents and drops with, as others have mentioned, lots of opportunity for axle articulation. Did both in my 2012 RRS - no damage or scratches, despite being brave enough to take on some of the more challenging sections.

Cheers for that ...I will take old girl for a drive around peterboroughs course next month then.
P.s any pics of your car on the course..?

Do you have to have a driving licence to drive around the course? Wasnt sure with it being more organised than a pnp day

Here's some pics of my RRS - 1st pic is from Peterborough LRO 2012, and the other 3 are from Billing 2013. It's a shame I didn't get photos from some of the more extreme stuff I took it through. Despite road-going tyres, it was a breeze - amazing traction.

Lol i was behind you on that course at billing in the green p38:D

I want to do the Peterborough offroad course but I have a lot of weight on the roof (rack, tent, high lift) and i really don't want to roll her!

You won't roll it at Peterborough. The marshals won't let you. Maybe on a p&p day but not on a set route. I've done it every year as well as billing for last 6. Yarwell is much better than billing in my opinion.

Both at billing can't ind any of yarwell
