Billing Off-Road Course-Do I need a breather kit?

I am planning on going to Billing Off-Road show this year for the first time (as long as it isn't cancelled due to Coronavirus) and was going to do the Lakeside off-road course and was wondering if i needed a snorkel and extended breather kit on my 2.4 TDCi Land Rover Defender 90 to be able to do the wading in the course. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

If your going through the water then it makes sense, although there are drive rounds to avoid things if you prefer not to do them
