Did the Billing show last weekend, the off road route was the same as usual. The mud run caused a great deal of difficulty on the Saturday and much recovery was required. Then on Sunday after listening to the marshals as to the best route, less recovery required. The obvious problem was always going to be two Land Rover shows within a week of each other. There appeared to be fewer on Sunday and it did not appear that there many interested in the few stands that were there. Most people were at the off road viewing points or at the food stalls at £3.50 for a latte coffee. Hopefully, next year there will be different dates and a reasonable gap between the two events. There need to be more events for the visitors to try out such as driving courses with difficulty levels. More manufactures would help, like used to be at the West Wycombe show in the 90,s where each manufacturer had a small off road course to suit the ability of their vehicle and visitors would be taken round by an instructor. We can only hope that these shows get a little more interesting for those who do not have a 4x4 but just might given the right information. Walking round just looking at old rusty bits that have seen better days does not do it for many. A bit more excitement would be good, and cheaper coffee

I was there and thought it was a decent effort by the organisers, and food and drink was way cheaper than all other comparable events I've been to.
