Hi, all, I have looked at the tyre size guide for tyres to fit to the disco 300tdi I am about to fit 265/75/16s on mine, the guide says cut here cut there etc, steering stops and possible bump stops, my question is this, Is this guide for a standard disco without a suspension lift and if it is will I still have to do some cutting, as mine already has a 2" suspension lift, any input would be much appreciated as i am new to this, thanks in advance.

Bump stops will still need doing as will the front bumper circumcision rear arches will need trimming and bump stops are advised, how do i know see avitar!

or you could just fit them and go from there.

my old disco had standard suspension, a camel cut to the rear arches and a trimmed front bumper. Fitted with normal alloys and 265/75r16 insa saharas i had no problems.

no need for bump stops/ spacers etc.

Cheers for the advice, I guess its a case of fit them first and see what needs doing, already got them for crimbo, had them fitted today on freestyles, just wish the bloody snow would p..s off.

I have 265/75 on standard alloys, only needed camel cut and am at standard height, but I fitted them, then found a place to cross axle slowly, then mark where they will catch and then cut with an angle grinder. Perfect now. Mine didnt need anything on the front, apart from steering stops, as I have a winch bumper.
